How to use the Corrugated and Castellated Beams tool in the Graitec PowerPack for Autodesk Advance Steel

Save time and retain the same level of information when modeling corrugated, cellular, castellated or general beam openings. With the Graitec PowerPack for Autodesk Advance Steel these types of elements are available to the user and can be easily placed and modified.

In the case of castellated, cellular and beams with beam openings, the various openings can be controlled from the dialog allowing for quick placement and adjustments. Elements can also be displayed as a single beam or split beams. This can be valuable if the you need to list the flanges and web separately in your part lists, drawings and numbering.

Corrugated beams offer two methods for controlling their web contours. The first is to utilize existing elements from a catalog for the corrugated section and flanges. The second method allow the user to define the values manually for virtually any type of uniform pattern.
